Why hello.
How's the first week shaking so far?
I need to do a girly complain. I have gained the weight I lost (the huge 10kg lost that is, I probably gain back 20 pfft.) All thanks to the daily intake of Toffee Nut Latte since last November. DAILY ok DAILY. Serves me right la ok, now my clothing feels tight and snug. That also screams for wet armpit alert! Why I cannot afford to gain weight is my knees. I will have huge ass problem later on.
I aim to go cycling often since running will further abuse the knees. And the boobs actually. Like probably I can flip the boobs over my back like a flapjack.
What else is in store this 2017?
InsyaAllah I aim to bring my family for Umrah. That vow I made years ago and I will fulfil that promise InsyaAllah.
I am checking out Greece. Please, Greece, please. And er Japan? And er Spain? And er Rome?
The kids are now in childcare, just as what I have been planning from Day 1. It is to ease the heavy load off my mom as well. So she just helps pick them up from 5 pm onwards and 2 hours later I am back at home.
They are my morning madness this week. The screaming goes on. The refusal to go to school still carries on. I had to invoke my most Pee-wee Herman and happyfockerness into my body and soul. Exhausting siol. The routine of the past few days had been like this - waking up, prod and poke kids to wake up, never wake up, carry and go bathroom together while still carrying them, remove their PJs and then spray water on their face. Ok not so brutal la, I spray only on their heads. BAHAHAHAHAH.
But yea ok, I had to enter the bathroom twice and bathe twice OK. Then hand over one of The Morning Madness to The Husband to get them ready. Then we have to deal with the screaming again in front of the door, at the corridor because The Girl refuse to go to school and wants to enter the job force like me.
The Boy follows suit because The Girl is like his idol or something like that. So he screams. We will carry their bags and them while they thrash about. Upon reaching school, The Boy starts bawling all the way till we leave.
The Girl's eyes will get all watery and she goes I WANT YOU. I WANT NENEK. Repeat that 100x.
Tomorrow another episode at her new madrasah.
Oh yes. Madness.
So how's your week been?
